On behalf of The MAC, I just want to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in this years Barrel Race!!
First and foremost I want to thank our event sponsors. This event would not even be possible without the generous support of each of these:
Origin Bank
Allen’s Electric
Industrial Electric
Pulp Mill Services
Plant Maintenance and Construction
Chad Gardner, DDS.
Winn Western Riding Association
Next, I want to thank all of our VOLUNTEER workers. These are a combination of board members, their family members, the Morehouse Parish 4H Riding club, and several others with huge hearts to serve and make a great event possible.
Thank you to our two tractor drivers for keeping us safe and rolling all weekend: Mearl Harper & Wesley Copeland, thank you both.
Thank you to all of the vendors for joining our event this year, we met many knew businesses and faces, and got to visit with some already familiar friends. We appreciate you all being a part of this event.
Thank you to Chris Porter, with Riverbank Products, for weathering the storm to get all of the great action shots! (I will post his link when I get word that the photos are uploaded).
Thank you to Seth Roy, with Seth Roy Voice Productions, for coming on board this year to keep us rolling, jamming, and always entertained. We enjoyed having you!
Also, thank you Becky Brakefield for teaming up with Seth Sunday morning to do our Cowboy Church service. Any time we have an opportunity to share God’s word, we are blessed and a blessing, so thank you both for sharing your faith and hearts.
And, lastly, THANK YOU, to all of the contestants who entered and ran with us. Despite the uncertainty of the weather all weekend, it turned out to be a good weekend, so thank you for "weathering the storm" with us.
It is our hope that everyone enjoyed their time at The MAC during our 3rd Annual “Friends of the MAC” Barrel Race and we hope you will join us again next year!
New this year, we are offering a completely anonymous post event survey so that you can let us know about your experience at our event. We would appreciate any feedback you are willing to offer, good and bad. See below
